Turquoise Storm

Post by bob the builder »

evenin all
Been away for a while as the kids have robbed me of my hard earned. Oldest one in Oz now and youngest one thru CBT last Saturday.

Anyhow, was offered a Storm yesterday, went to see it tonight.

Turquoise 2002 model with 9800 miles, mint all round never seen rain. £1750 to me.

BUT.............the colour, tell me honsetly is it a wummins colour and would i be ridiculed for riding around on a non manly colour?

It is absolutely mint all round and would be a shame to pass up, wife already taking the pi**.

Honest opinions please.

Bob

Just noticed the correct colour term is Jerez Blue Mettalic or Teal.

Just use my general rule of thumb if Im buying something Bob.

If you like it feckin buy it. Feck what anybody else thinks. If the Mrs is taking the Pi** tell her that you bought it to go with the lovely shoes that you were going to buy her because you thought she deserved a treat.

Then tell her you couldnt afford too because you spent all the money on a new bike.

mine was teal originally.
it'l be a 2001 model, probably with a 02 reg, meaning it will have the 16L tank and same clocks as the 99 etc, ie it's not the facelift 2002 model with the half digi clocks, new r/r & 19L tank.

the teal does look extremely nice waxed up in the sun.
some say they look gay. i think the yellow ones look gay personally :whatever

Nothing wrong with TEAL

Seriously it does look good shined up. It is a bit different to the usual bike colours, people have asked how much it cost to get such a good custom paint job. I think its the only metallic one apart from silver, so looks even better in the baking summer sun that you will soon be riding in.
