Can I still come and chat?
Sorry, but in effect I've sold my 'Storm? Will go by the w/e. Why?
Well I have three motorbikes, two scooters and a Caterham 7 sports car.
Mileages last year:-
VTR between MOT's - 266
Ductai between MOT's - 70
Royal Enfield - Zero
Scooters (both) - Zero
Caterham 7 - Zero
See, I'm wearing the poor VTR out!!!!!!!! Actually, a house move forces the issue and as the guy that sold the bike to me in the first place fancies it back; how could I refuse. So bike reg 'VTR 1 K' will soon be with Matt again.
The Caterham must go and probably the Enfield too plus the scooters once rebuilt (as another awaits me!)
Thanks for the memories good ol' VTR.

Re: Can I still come and chat?
is always sad when you have to part with stuff but hey
nice plate on the storm... bet that would fetch a packet on its own!

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Re: Can I still come and chat?
Some of them still talk to me so you should be ok
Good luck with the sell and move.

Re: Can I still come and chat?
I only have a couple of pix 'down-the-can'
http://www.flickr.com/photos/81476041@N00/673590174/

Basically, take a std Honda VTR can. Cut the end off VERY CAREFULLY. Remove all the interior pipes and baffles etc. Fit a perforated tube the right length. Then, very carefully weld the end can back on and get it all polished up so as to look just about undistinguishable from the original............... until you start it up!!!!
Not that close-up but this is the finished item.

It appears Flickr are giving grief to pix 'embedded' so not sure if you can access these or not!
