Exhaust inserts ?
Exhaust inserts ?
Hi does anyone know where I can get the gauze inserts in the link pipe ends, don't seem available anywhere. I have some repair fibreglass string , would that be ok?
Re: Exhaust inserts ?
Are you on about gaskets? Your exhaust manufacturer should be able to supply them. I wouldn't use fiberglass my self but then, Im no expert.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience!
Re: Exhaust inserts ?
I have just recently changed the exhausts on my bike and needed the same thing.
I went to my local Honda dealer who had these in stock.
Both silencer Gaskets cost £18 + VAT (£22)
That was for both!! not £22 each.
Your lucky, I have just found the plastic bag it came in and the part number is
18392-MG7-750
Good Luck

Re: Exhaust inserts ?
if you have fitted aftermarket cans & still have the originals.... have a look in the inlet of the oem can as there is one of these packers in each side and another one between the rear header & collector
wemoto do a generic packer the same part as the honda one quoted for 4 euros.
the only difference is they dont come in a honda bag.

Good job you mention, Ive lost one of my stubby scorpion removable baffles.
Scorpion want too much money for a replacement though...
Anyone know of a cheaper distributor or replicas
