Posting pictures on the site

I know this question has been asked elsewhere on the site but I didnt understand the answer

. I am a total novice to computers and the net

. I would like to post a picture of my bike on the site but have absolutly no idea how to do it

. I have a scanner but what I need is a very basic step by step set of instructions of which buttons to press to end up with the picture on the site. I can scan and save pictures to my computer, its getting them from my computer to the site that I dont understand

. Any one there able to help

if you luck under readers rides........"whatisname" is asking you mail him your piccie, and he'll host it for you, and then send it back to you with a URL address. All you do then is do your post, hit the Img button, and insert the picture link between the Img bits.....

et viola.............

as they say in mongolia.....

Piccie now posted on readers rides. Thanks to everyone who helped and for the advice. Id better sign up for night school on the computer
