afternoon out yesterday
afternoon out yesterday
Many thanks to MacV2 for his hospitality yesterday afternoon and the loan of the gloves, they feel much better and allowed for hot hands swelling lol, was good to have an afternoon out and chat about bikes etc, and if anyone else goes to mac's he has some lovely windy roads on the way to his house made the ride there and back very entertaining.
98% of all Harleys ever sold are still on the road. The other 2% made it home

Re: afternoon out yesterday
No worries Alec, so the extra roomy gloves were ok on your deformed hands then? He He
As I said yesterday try J & S Accessories in Eltham High Street

Good selection of gloves to try.
Let me know how you get on with the risers & the chopping of the fairing. ( if you don't have a dremmell type tool, your welcome to come down to mine & do it here.)
Mac.
P.S. Don't mention the frame polishing.

i ended up welding a 8mm nut on the bottom yoke to limit the lock.alec wrote:b**tard lol, the fairing chop went ok mate, the risers are on with the vfr bars lol but they dont quite make full lock so going to try with the original bars. gloves are great i'll get them back to you soon bud.
bit of a pain doing u turns on narrow roads lol but it's got rid of the trap point between the bars & tank, which is an mot fail.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Re: afternoon out yesterday
thats a good idea benny minimize the turning without trapping the instruments on the fairing, the left turn is ok its when i turn the bars to the right the switch gear hits the fairing.benny hedges wrote:i ended up welding a 8mm nut on the bottom yoke to limit the lock.alec wrote:b**tard lol, the fairing chop went ok mate, the risers are on with the vfr bars lol but they dont quite make full lock so going to try with the original bars. gloves are great i'll get them back to you soon bud.
