Hi Stromers - disc locks

Post by Fletch89 »

Hi fellow stormers,

I'm new here! Just wondered what disc locks everyones using. Im looking at a Xena XZZ6L, just wondered if anyone was using it on a storm or had any insight on the lock.

Thanks

I'm using one of these.

Does the job. Little bit cumbersome to carry in a pocket due to the weird shape but other than that no prob with the lock itself.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

I'm not sure this is a good idea, because if I told you then my bike went missing I'd get all suspicious........

Suffice to say my rottwieler has his own shotgun license.

But Hi, Fletch, welcome in, first post and all, don't want to jump down your throat.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Cheers for the reply pinkyfloyd looked at the X1 lock, just fancied a disc lock with an alarm (bit more a deterant.) Guna have a measure of my disc.

(I realise your concern tony however was merely asking if anyone knew if the lock fitted the standard disc.)

Cheers lads.

I use one of those alarmed disc locks and its great. You must replace the batterries every 6 months or it will keep going off.

HAd one of those Xena XZZ6 Alarmed Disk Locks and it did our head in, used to go off for no reason in garage and it was LOUD! Took batteries out in the end, tried replacements but useless. Save your money and buy a dog as i think Tony.Mon is suggesting :)

This is it.

Mine is the same, even with fresh batteries :Argue 1:
