bloody hell mate can only say a big sorry to you as nobody knew you were off.
we need to keep a tighter pack tbh & thank god it wasnt in a more dangerous spot...
we couldnt believe how far back this happened and nobody saw.
no mobile signal either 8O

thank god you're (reasonably) ok mate & hop the bike's sorted quick.
best wishes mate, sad ending to a great day but at least you're in one piece eh.

& yes - jonesey = star

absolutely nothing for anyone to apologise for, i was significantly slower than everyone else in the wet and was happy to bimble along at the back, was just a combination of things, cold, wet, thoughts of warm shower etc instead of concentrating on what i was doing, painful lesson learned on my behalf

Its no problem mate, if i have the means to help someone out i will, im just glad your not to badly damaged and it hasn't put you off bikes.

as for bennys comments about a tighter pack i think that in this instance its true, on a road like that its to long and remote to rely on the marker system and that was a failing on my part more than anything by not stopping at some point to group it all back up, but then hindsight is wonderful thing its a lesson learned for the future. It was about 10 miles back from rhayader.

I hope you get well soon playerone and hope to see you up here on your bike again soon

I agree with Murray, think of the Marines motto never leave a man behind, if you keep the guys lights in your mirror all the time, you slow down for him to catch up, and thus the guy in front of you will do the same; and so on.

but a big thanks to murray for making a bad situation better, you are what sets us storm riders apart from other bikes.

It makes me proud to be part of this forum and know you that these guys will do there best to help a friend out.

she must be a closet storm rider, make sure you hide the keys, thanks to her for being understanding as well. not all other halves would understand why we perform selfless acts of kindness to people we only just met.

get her to take her test by inviting her to the next bike meet... that will give her a deadline and a goal to work to.
