what have you done to your "bike" today

Post by cliveyandrews »

That rear line seems long, not sure mine follows the same route. When/if I get mine back I'll check....

(it'd work well with the fireblade caliper when I fit it)

Best pic I have at the mo - mine seems to run flat...?

Mine does seem a little long but to be honest, after the hassle I've had with the brake res on the front and rear (both needed changed) and the wrong pads sent to me (Halfrauds for you). I was just glad to get the bugger on there.

Bit of a kink in the front master supply tube pinky.....
I reckon it needs about 3/4 inch trimming off it.

I saw that too. Needs straightened is all. It went on there straight and then I stood the bike up and it went not straight. :confused

Bought one, and it isn't a Storm so guess I wont be around here much from now on.
B/Honeydew, You don't have to go just because you haven't bought a Firestorm, after all you've not been here long

What have you got yourself anyway :?:

Got nicked on it, 42 in a 30! £60 and 3 points :whatever Copper was hiding behind broken railings.....

Still he told to fit louder pipes as the originals sounded crap and I should let the sound out! When I told him i had some that were marked "Not for highway use" ready to go on, he said "The Met will never nick you for loud pipes, after all Harley riders get away with it. However if we stop you for something else we will look at them. Also advised new rear tyre "to improve the handling" and said what cracking bikes they are.

Then told me he had held back from triggering the hairdrier until I had seen him as my original speed would have meant a visit to the beak :eek2

What a man

Sorry I should have mentioned that, he also told me that all Met traffic cops are expected to ride bikes as part of their duties.

So if you want to get nicked nicely, come to London!

Not strictly on the bike, but for the bike, and not today. Finished my workbench yesterday. It's rough and ready but serves it's purpose well and should outlast me. Built it in my neighbours garage and it's now moved into mine.

washed it after the wales trip, and found a water leak from the thermostat housing pipe; so stripping it down this weekend to clean any corrossion off the housing and check the hoses for cracks and brittleness.

Give me a chance to the cooclant as well.

or it would make a good cage for your gimp :biker: :Gay: :Stick1: :Stick: :Whip:
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
