You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Yes the brakes are not as good as your old 600. In fact a good modification is to take the calipers and master cyl off a cbr600 f4i and fit to storm..... Result is great brakes

You will need to remove a bit on material off the caliper and the fork leg, but the hole spacing is correct. have a look at my thread when I changed mine. In workshop somewhere
