Post by cheesylobster »

Hi everyone,

Just treated myself to a pristine red SP1, wanted one for years and pleased i took the plunge, bit of a different ride to my old zzr1100??!!

Looking forward to picking your collective brains for improvments servicing etc, hopefully i can help too when i get familiar with the bike.

Anyhoo thanks again and look forward to chattin.

Kind regards

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Hi all, thanks for the replies, I dont know who Marras is so probably not mate!!! I'm just back from a blast to Southend, certainly clears the cobwebs!!

I will post some piccies when I can work out how to!!! Im not really computer literate. :D

Im in Romford Essex, any other SP1/2 owners nearby?

I too considered a Ducati but I kinda like the exclusivity of the SP if you know what I mean, my bike is ten years old but looks like it is new (ish) I just wonder what Dukes will look like in 10/15 years. Good old Honda build quality.

Finally have any othe SP owners fitter a Power commander?? Im not to bothered about extra BHP, i would just like to sort out the low speed fuelling.

Finally take care out there ther are far too many cars on the road.

Regards, cheesy

Hi, there's a few Storm owners in Essex, funnily enough was there this after collecting some spare carbon sleeves (Cheers, Jonesy!) for the project shed.

Some rideouts, camping weekends, keep an eye on the relevant section, next planned one is Silverstone BSB Sept 23-25.

Can't help you with fueller box, but can recommend HM Racing in Edenbridge, Kent for setting up and dyno, if there's no-one nearby that you trust.

Good of you to drop by...
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
