body molding?

Post by Honda996 »

I have seen my year super hawk with a aftermarket lower fairing. still keeps the "naked" look but also completes the sport bike look. also I see that the brown one in the corner of this very site has the lower fairing with a more closed look which I am trying to go for. My question is where can I find one for my bike? (F.Y.I I am in the states.)
Thanks, James

Hi James, welcome aboard. Theres many kinds of lowers available, have a look in the gallery and see if there's one you like. If you find one, post a link to it and i'm sure someone will tell you what make it is and where to get one.

It is quite a friendly place but you'll struggle to get any sense out of most of the locals. :?

Pyramid plastics in the UK do a 'fuller' type of bellypan. Not cheap though, at over £200 ($300). They seem to have distributors in the US.

The one in your link is a Mario Nava full fairing. There's a link on this home page but it might be down at the moment
Not cheap but very lovely.

You can also get a Moriwaki (or copy) which look nice but have a gap between the lowers and the top fairing
http://www.hpower.com.au/

Or the pyramid which I've got which joins up to the fairing to give the full look (but the colour match is rarely perfect)

And I think in the states you can get a sharkskinz one which is pretty
http://www.sharkskinz.com/h/honda1070.htm - $250

hey man your in the states and mario is in italy. No disrespect to mario but i have a extra set of his plastics. let m eknow if you want them and ill let you know how much i want for them . ill take $600 they include the upper and lower also opp racing halogen lights and opp headlight bracket. if you get them from mario they are around 900$ mine have a little damage and when i say little i meen little. you could fix it your self or have some body do it and still be way less than what mario wants. once again no disrespect to mario me and him are like best friends. but i figure it would be easier to get them from me . they are red white and black. if you look at mario's web site go to the racing section and they are those fairings , the exact ones off of that bike actually. like i said they are street legal cause i had the halogen (enduro) lights molded in to the nose. just let me know . my email address is johng996@yahoo.com i will send you pics of them and will nego the price possibly.

later man and welcome

Ebloke
Spoke to Mom & Dad Sunday night. They live about 40 miles North of Kissimee.
Guess What..... The storm went straight over it. They only had 70-80 mph winds and rain so hard you couldn't see the houses on the other side of the road.

Don't worry though, I'm sure they'll get it all cleared up by the time you get there

hahah. Disney was open the day after the hurrican along with every other place in florida. the plastics damage is on the (if your looking at the front of the bike) right front bottom bottom corner of the nose. It has a cut in it . from what i dont know. ans the right under radiator has what looks like a dent in it. other than that its fine. I even have a box that you could take them back home in. the lower just has a couple of scratches on it on the very lowest part, other than that the lower is in perfect condition. i have instructions and all the spacers for these fairings that will be included. yea if you come to florida gimme a call, you guys have y email address so let me kow if you want pics or any thing. i would keep your tickets.

the damage is because it was hit by 3 cars 8O let me explain my girlfriends uncles plymouth pt cruiser was parke behind my girls bmw wgich was parked behind my bike. well another stupid bitch came flying around the corner and said she was reaching down to get her purse and hit the pt cruiser which hit the bmw which knocked over my bike.
