WHAT BOOTS?

ok i have got to replace all my bike kit as i haven't had a bike for 5 years but im stuck on what boots to go for as i like the race look but they are all rubbish if you need to walk anywhere (petorl station) any ideas as i'm also on a budget ?

I just got some Alpinestars SMX-4. Last years model but I rode in them for the first time on Monday and after 20 minutes forgot they were there. Rigid soles of course but I find walking in them to be OK.

Very comfortable for me with just a pair of reasonably thick socks on. I recommend them. £130 from J&S.

They also do a waterproof version for £180 iirc.

Try to get by till next Spring when they're on offer in Aldi and Liddel stores.

got Sidi Vertex for my birthday, and very pleased with them, but it somes down to what you like, I find the Sidi's are better quality for sub £250, anything above Alpinestars seem the way to go, but they are a bit loud for me, and too expensive
