yes. interesting article.
ive been pulled over in the past for passing on solid lines, while still in my lane....
i said the same thing - i didnt cross the line. plod cautioned me anyway.

and again, filtering round a left hand bend.... stationary line of cars, i rolled past them as you do and was then stopped by a police car who i had also overtaken.
he said i should never overtake on a left hand bend :confused :confused when i asked why he just said cos its dangerous. i said how is it dangerous when the traffic is stopped?
he then proceeded to detain me until everyone id overtaken had gone past. (wonker)

i find it ridiculous that blame can be apportioned the way it is. especially in cases where drivers tbone a bike or pull a u turn cos they get impatient in traffic.
all you can do is expect it and be ready for it.

the other week, think ziggy was out with us... we had pulled over to wait for someone and a furious woman stopped behind us, ranting her head off that we had overtaken her on both sides.
and? :whatever
go back & read the highway code again bimbo. perfectly legal.
thats what happens when you crawl along in the middle of the road. :whatever
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Haha I remember that. She was a right little pudding.

She was annoyed because we overtook her on a dual carriageway coming up to a 2 lane roundabout, then I think Sean and I overtook her on the roundabout itself. Stupid bitch.

Anyway crossing solid whites isn't illegal every time.

If you cross to overtake something going less than 10mph you're fine.

If you're going faster though, it is illegal even if your body or part of it, such as a foot crosses but your bike stays on correct side.

but saying that, it's illegal to fart in a lift, or to put a postage stamp on upside down, so who gives a crouton lol

The giving of croutons is illegal in France, unless you are wearing a fluorescent vest limited to 100 lumens.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

To fart in a lift?

Really?

Haha

How about farting in a small office, or a train, or bus?
