Honda made an orange VTR as standard? I thought they only made the yellow, red, silver, teal and black ones. What year did they start doing orange ones?
Honda surely did make Orange Firestorms as standard. We still have a few members on here besides GREG-STORM who own one, but not many. Not sure what year they did the Orange ones.
They are Tube-Tech 2TR silencers on stainless link pipes, look great but can't be run without DB killers. Currently fabricating some front DBK's as rear mounted ones spoil the look, also working on a stainless hanger straps that will weld on to the link pipe to complete the look and get shot of the ugly standard strap. As you have discussed they did make orange ones but the limited addition Gulf blue and orange models are probably the hardest to find "in good condition".

As it happens this is its original paint (only done 10K) and like the yellow is has a very faint metallic flip when you look real close. For anyone thinking about stubby cans be warned they are uncomfortably loud event with DB killers, I will need to fabricate some additional baffle tubes get the sound right.
Eh?

Might be selling this firestorm soon. Need a new boiler because ours has just packed in. So for the right price, I might sell.
storm is cheap to run, pipe the exhausts outside(so you dont die of the exhaust gases), extend the radiator pipes, so you can have on radiator under two chairs to keep you warm.
my shed is lovely an warm after I put her away after a blast.
