Ride is still on, weather looks to stay dry, so those who have my mobile, text me to know if we will try and meet up once we are in the peak district.

I'm gutted I missed this, had to work. Bloody typical, I normally get weekends off.

Benny man, you poor thing, stuck with all those slow yellow ones.... :(

Yea was good :-) just about stayed dry, and as always, roads excellent around the peak district.

Only downer was the filth flying round in their helicopter trying to catch us doing something naughty.

When I got home, I took off my helmet and look what I found between my visor and the outer plastic, basically it could have been flying around with access to get behind my ears or anything

If I had have seen that while driving I would have sh1t my pants.

Glad you got back ok,

bloody cops were everywhere, there was a speed trap outside Darley Moor on our way home, but thankfully a van driver flashed us....but it was miles before the trap, so I was just about to give up and nail it!
There was a bloke on a speedtripple coming the other way just before we got to the trap, and he didn't try and warn us at all! What's that all about?

Any way, apart from snake pass, with a police land rover in front of us, a helicopter above us and then a '
"sh1t your pants" moment when you see flashing blues at the back of the q of cars you are working your way past. Was a great day out.
Some good roads and great scenery, but as a result of the heavy police presence, I was getting afraid to make any progress by the end!

Signs of rain when got home, but dry all day.

Good to meet you all, shame Clive and Pauline couldn't make it, see if we can find another day.

Sorry I missed coming for a spin today. I ended up getting roped into helping a mate move house  .

not quite as much fun as riding.

Pauline and I are still on for day 2, plan b, route c.... Lol....

i.e. I've got her bike back together - tyre scrubbed in - so we're off to bikers world this morning - then grab a few miles somewhere. Nothing too flash, P needs experience under her belt.

Would love to have done your route too - as long as the yellow ones hadn't slowed us down too much. But at least Benny could keep up....

cheeky bugger lol.... my whitey will eat them all tbh... still doesnt feel as fast on the sp.
had a go of ziggy's bog standard one yesterday and said he'll have to have a go on my storm & see the difference lol!!! 8O
it's er... an experience!

need to do the same (ish) mods to the sp cos even though it's nice in many ways, it feels a bit lame compared the the storm powerwise
