Rideout with gumbieman

Post by MattM »

Met up with gumbieman today for a ride out from George Whites to Bibury. I didnt have a good start to the morning....pulled away from mine and blink....orange light of death came on...I was already cutting it fine for a 10 o'clock meet.

Bike fuelled to the brim in record time, I was off to GWs. Pulled up to a very, very clean looking red firestorm (I mean we cant all the the best colour can we - blue  ).

Introductions over and we left GWs and headed for highworth then to lechlade then swung off to bibury. Had perfect weather for it.

A few pics of the bikes and our ugly mugs....

Yup thats me mate....oh right...Ive got 2 sets of Frank Thomas boots and they dont fit over the leathers, hence me having to wear them under the trousers. The only set of boots I have found that fit over the trousers are Hein and Gerrick (excuse me if thats spelt wrong). Im not quite sure if you are supposed to wear them over or under

Nice bit of dry stone walling that.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience!
