Hello from Spain.

Post by Rad_Draven »

Hi to all!. I lived in Reading one year ago and I bought a VTRF that I brought here to spain. Here is a very strange bike, people even stop me to ask where I got my bike, how old it is and a lot of questions more. :) I'm very proud of driving this bike here, in my country. And I registered to ask several questions, specially about the famous CCT, because I had a failure that costed me about 1.400 euros to fix.

Thanks to all :)

Welcome. I have replied to your CCT question in the other section.
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

hello and welcome, Spain would be a great place to play on the Storm. Been down to Valencia for the MotoGP, and I go out to ride trail bikes down near Malaga most years, but never been out on a road bike

please dont remind us about the good roads, the good weather and the fact that motorcycling is encouraged and applauded. :x

Hi again :) Thanks for that warm welcome. The year that I spent on the UK, the weather was not that bad. Well, If we forget that it rained everynight and that huge snow storm, it was all right. (Well, okey, I missed the sun a lot) but riding the bike on summer was a pleasure than I'll never forget.

Here in spain is a horrible torture, driving with 47 degrees and no one cloud is a nightmare. I hope to come back soon to england :)

I'm from Madrid. Bringing the bike here is not very very expensive. I paid about 300 euros, from Portsmouth to Santander, in a ferry with bed, so was not bad.

I was surprised because so many people from the UK came here. And in the ferry y counted about 30 bikes and 10 classic cars. (And when I say classic, I mean cars with more than 50 years!)

But, anyway, if you come to madrid give me a ring! is always good to speak english with a native for me. :)

hi mr ember
i'm sure you know spain isn't for everyone buddy but if you can earn a living here, you will have a lovely life here.
a lot of people make the misttake of treating living in spain as a holiday, big mistake. weither you live in the uk or spain life is still life with its ups and downs, i'm sure you know this from your time here in the past.
for me the positives far out weigh the negatives of life in the uk and i'm very happy to share my time between the two countries, in the not to distant future i hope to be a full time resident of spain, watch this space..........
