Welcome along matey, like others have said you will find everything you need on this site. Its the best thing i've ever done, loads of great info and everybody is so helpfull.

I'm willing to bet that CCT failure (or the fear of it once someone has told you about how often they fail) is the no 1 reason for new members.
But as the info in your other thread shows, it isn't a major problem, and isn't likely to have killed your engine. It can be put right relatively painlessly, and there are plenty of people on here who know how to do the repair- because theirs did the same thing- including me.
