Helo all!

Post by Rabbipie »

Hi guys,

I have always ridden V twins mostly Buells and after a couple of years away from riding decided to get back in the saddle. :D
I have set my sights upon the beautiful bike that is the firestorm and I would appreciate any help in finding one preferably with the CCt's all done.
I have checked through the main sites ebay MCN ect but they tend to go beyond my budget.
All help advice and heads up would be appreciated!
I am based in Portsmouth Uk area but willing to travel.

Cheers

Don't worry about the CCT's- they can be done very easily once you've got it home.

Cost is from £35 to convert it to manuals. (not the £356 I originally posted  )

There's a few people about that would give you a hand if you asked nicely, and anyway there's an excellent guide in the Workshop section of how to do it yourself.

Thanks guys its good to know that they aren't as daunting or expensive (now that I know they are £35  ) as a lot of people make out.
I think there will definitely be requests for help and advice going out when I do it to ensure I dont mess up the timing :)

Cheers again

I'm up the a3 in Kingston so when you get your bike and CCT's, I'll help you fit em if you want. It's not a massively long ride. Obviously if there is someone closer that can help that would be easier, but the offer is there either way.

Welcome to the forum, there have been some nice clean bikes up for sale in the last few months, so if you are patient I am sure you will find a good un.
