Hi Guys,

Had my vtr for about 3 months now and love love love it. Ive also got a tlr and a bmw f650 (as my winter hack bike). I am in the process of getting some trick bits together for my vtr to do some custom work to her in the winter months while she is off the road. Il post pics as Im going. I intend to fit wavey discs, service the calipers fit braided hoses, chrome paint the tank and wheels and custom airbrush some of the panels orange and white check.

I live in ormskirk in Lancashire and my neighbours love me lol.

Hi, Andy.
Going for the chequered flag effect, eh?
One of the Triumphs had that as a fairing, looked good from some angles, not sure about others.
But on a tank it could be striking.

Welcome. What is involved with when chroming a tank & how long will it last??

Hi Darkmember,

Its only a paint that gives it a chrome finish, ordered from America, you can get chrome paint here but the overall finish isnt great.

Paint job sounds good, but make sure your CCTs are also on the winter mods list. Don't want you next post to be about bent valves
