That is bloody good news but I think it's feckin disgusting that you have to pay to get it back. The cost should be offset till they find the dirty pikey b8stard that took it then get it off them, even if its £1 per week for the next three years!
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience!

Great news that you got it back with minimal damage but i do agree its a bit much charging you to get it out of the pound.

Yeah, glad to hear this. The £150 is a "storage" charge I assume? Like you wanted it there!

Yep.
I found the bar steward that nicked my immaculate low mileage Bonneville (old proper one) and although the police wouldn't let me have his address they let me know when his case came up, and I was able to get £5/week off him until it was paid back.

Unfortunately, I'd calmed down after three years so didn't kneecap him, tied to a chevron sign on the local roundabout with a sign on him for everyone to see.

Must be getting old.

They said he'd pushed it around the corner into his parents' garage and later swapped it for a 1/4 of blow.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
