Re: Bike Alarm
Iv got a cyclone alarm installed to mine. I just have the one that beeps not talks( cause the talking one would deffo do me head in)
It does what it does very well. You can adjust the sensitivity when someone trys to move the bike etc. Had it on for over 2 yrs now with no probs. Came with two remote fobs and the option to install electronic start. I didnt bother with that as I prefer to put a key in and turn the fecker on.

Re: Bike Alarm
this ones a non talker/remote start too jazz and i must admit i'm very impressed with it,although i think i'd better disconnect the remote start too as pushing the key into it is far safer where he is

Re: Bike Alarm
i rang the company and told them i'd bought a firestorm with their cyclone v2 alarm fitted but the wiring had been disconected and if i gave them the numbers off the alarm would they supply another wiring diagram so i could re-wire it....they said they didn't supply the diagrams only but if bought another it would contain the diagram i needed....why would i buy another when the bike i had has one already....answer....it's company policy..

Re: Bike Alarm
i was browsing another forum and found i wasn't the only one they neglected to tell that they sold the diagrams...i found 10-15 people had either disconnected it for fault finding and had lost the wiring diagram so couldn't reconnect it or had bought bikes with them disconnected, all had got the same answer...buy another...
Re: Bike Alarm
thanks anyway mate hopefully someone on here has a copy they can share PLEASEtattoo wrote:i rang the company and told them i'd bought a firestorm with their cyclone v2 alarm fitted but the wiring had been disconected and if i gave them the numbers off the alarm would they supply another wiring diagram so i could re-wire it....they said they didn't supply the diagrams only but if bought another it would contain the diagram i needed....why would i buy another when the bike i had has one already....answer....it's company policy..

Re: Bike Alarm
I have them but no scanner i can use but i will try and explain, obviously you do this at your own risk, I ain't liable for nowt.
Red and black to battery/ positive and negative.
Two yellow wires from connector, one goes to left indicator wire and one goes to right indicator wire. I have noted indicator wires as orange and light blue.
After the above, test the system!!!!
Make sure all other wires are not touching anywhere and press the arm button and then disarm, alarm should click and indicators should flash.
From instructions.....
Yes pink and brown go together, not sure why they did not do it in box but probably to fit another bike model.
The fuse box is snug, you will need to carefully pop it up, there is a tag that goes right through the base and you can find the other end of it above the back wheel if you know what i mean.
Carefully strip back the tape and locate your wires, (If I remember correctly the live side was red or maybe red and black along with other reds/red n blacks and the other side was a pepermint colour (whats that aqua or something)?
I did not cut the wire, i don't remember having to cut any wires at all.
If for some reason the alarm gets fooked you can put the fuse back in and you're back to normal BUT yes a thief could also put a fuse back in too but hopefully the alarm going off will put the thief off before they get that far.
There is a slot for a spare fuse
Note,
I used the remote start a lot and it has been perfectly fine (lets face it it used the exact same circuit to keep your bike running so there is no extra worry about it stopping) EXCEPT for one thing.
Your ignition key not only operates the ignition, it also allows power to your fan!!
So if your going to be sitting in traffic as I was you will need to use your key if you want the fan to work, otherwise you could overheat.
I had planned to rewire this bit but never got around to it.
For the small cost, i find it a great value alarm and i'm very happy with it.
If you have any questions I can try and look them up for you.

..........................1) Find the fuse box (under the seat)
2) start the engine and remove the ignition fuse. If this is correct the engine will cut out. If not replace fuse and try a different fuse.
3)With the fuse removed and the key still in th eon position, test the wires either side of the removed fuse.
4)Connect the brown and pink wires to the live side and the grey wire to the dead side. LEAVE THE FUSE OUT! (some fitters prefer to cut the output wire in half and attach the brown and pink to one side and the grey to the other.
5)Find the start relay. "it's on under the seat in the panel on the left" Connect the long blue wire to the input wire at the start relay or you can use the output from the start button if you prefer.
6) Follow the start option on this diagram before pressing any buttons on the remote JOB DONE.
