This a direct quote from Chambers Dictionary, 2010 reprint.

Optimist (n):

"One who buys an item from Motrax at £15, fits them but bends a bolt through hamfistedness, but then tries to sell them for an obscene profit"

Thank you Prof Mon, I was only guessing at the definition of an optomist but it is remarkable you found such an accurate description. I am forever in your debt Sir.

AH! But if they are thought of as work of art, then when the artist dies (Motrax) prematurely or unexpectedly then in the market place the value shoots up as there is now only a finite amount of crafted works available.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Only if they're signed, surely?

I shall ask for provenance, and a bit of patina, next time I order.

These are a better price. I have these fitted to mine and they fit well with no fairing cutting. I haven't used them in anger, thankfully. Might do someone some good -
