bars under the top yoke...

anyone tried this?

want to give the storm a racier riding position so am considering fitting the standard bars under the top yoke, clip-on style...
i know the switchgear will hit the fairing but i have a fibreglass one to modify if need be,,,
comments? suggestions?
(without going buying a very expensive set of adjustable race clip-ons that is.)

thats why im wondering if anyones tried the std bars under the yoke!
i'll give it a try anyway & see what it feels like.
if i like it i'll make some spacers / sleeves to go round the fork, under the bars

i bought a pair of these because the cbr forks i put on are shorter than the storms, they are the cheapest i could find, but word of warning although they look good and the quality is decent, no matter how hard i tighten them i still get a bit of movement, very minor admittedly but not what you want from clip ons, you pay your money you take your chances i suppose...........
