spraying
i am thinking about respraying the silver metal work a black colour .. any ideas on best way to do this ?? type of paint to use ?? etc maybe any pictures of a bike that has already had this done ??

if you mean frame/subframe/swingarm i would suggest hammerite smooth finish, just make sure you mask up well to avoid overspray, benny sprayed his own frame i believe, you should give him a shout, he might have a few tips for you. i ended up getting my swingarm poweder coated but i will be spraying the subframe myself.
what ever you do take some before and after pictures for us to have a look at, did that parcel arrive in the end?

hi thank u for that information im really considering trying it as many modern bikes ya see now have black frames and i really like the look of it ... and yes i recieved it thank u very much i did email u when i recieved it thanking u and letting u know it was recieved safely do apoligise if u never recieved it wud hate to seem ungrateful for your great generosity . the parts were spot on and exactly wat i needed .

If you are stripping it down, why not go for powdercoating?

definatly be the best option to do that i just worry that if i strip it away from its frame that i wnt be able to put it bak tgether correctly ha ha ha as it looks like a big job to take it all apart taking engine out etc lol

Engine out can be a royal PITA as the main (centre) engine bolt sometimes seizes in the engine castings, and cutting it out is an art form for an artist with a lot of patience.
