Welcome back into Firestorm ownership.

This bike looks familiar, did you get it from e-bay from the guy in Devon? If so, it was second on my list to view but I got mine from the guy in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Bike looks lovely, will you post some pictures when you've got rid of the fake carbon? Has it got the manual CCT's and R1/R6 R/R fitted? Always interested if the bikes that people here are buying are from other enthusiasts or from Joe public.

Hope the weather warms up so we can all get out and enjoy the torque.

Ride safe,
Mark

Thanks for the welcome guys. sniff!! Rectifier I've just ordered, cct not yet, but before I ride it anywhere!

Bigspanish, our house is in the south west, near-ish to Cahors / Figeac, so a couple of hours from the mountains. Lived there from '06 - 2010, biking roads and attitudes to it were v.good, still sometimes show a leg when overtaking other bikes, must look a right berk. I've ridden a bit around Barcelona when it was 38ºc, it was beautiful, filled with lots of 'attack' fiat pandas!

It's special trumphonda paint, it's in all good stockists, next to the sky hooks and tartan paint section!

Sorry, I forgot to answer, yes it was the bike advertised in Devon, I'd looked at some right pieces of sh1t, so was pleasantly surprised with this one - work the drive.

i just checked out cahors on google maps, i've been past there many times coming down towards tolouse and then andorra, know days t i tend to go further across to the east, millau viaduct and along the coast heading south, i always avoid paris by doing chartres and rouen tho. i've only ever come across a couple of police cars on each journey, and once i did salou to calais in 14 hours and i didn't see one copper in france until the ferry terminal. the driving standards in spain are pretty poor but there aren't that many cars on the road, unless you go to the big cities. i always found the french toll roads to be a piece of piss, in a car i would just stick the cruise control on a 100mph and see how far i could go without touching the pedals
me and some friends will be riding down to spain in 2013, we might pop in and say hello.....
