Dead battery

Post by ChrisC »

Went out for ride today, the storm started on the button without a problem(it's been on a trickle charge) .I had done about 40 miles and as luck would have it called in on a mate of mine,i stayed for about two hours "thawing out" .came out to a totally dead battery.....who said they don't make them like they used to..this battery was the original 2001..no complaints then. no it doesn't mate, the batteries a bit bigger so its a tight fit and the cover gets in the way slightjy, but it isn't a problem to remove it......£45 is a great price!
