Cafe Racer in progress early days

Post by linden46 »

Bike started off as early model VTR which had been dropped all be it lightly. Salt has eaten into the original forks, calipers and wheels. So a cafe racer is the direction I'm going, I have a CBR 600RR front end and rear wheel. The seat unit is off a Ducati Monster, Hel B/lines, Samco red hose kit, 7" led front headlight, Lithium lightweight battery, KN filter, Carbon engine covers.......so far.

Would like to stick with clip on's but depends on reach may have to go with risers, may have to go with a steering damper as the front end looks a little radical thats before I ride it. Thinking of staying with half bare metal and old skool HRC colour scheme.

Thanks for the comments.
