Hi..have had my exhaust system apart and noticed there was a fibreous insert inside the female ends to make for a good seal. Does anyone know where I can buy new ones are mine are a bit past their best.
Cheers..

Wicky, thanks for that. I should have thought about them before I sent for the exhaust port gasket rings.

Search on here; Benny Hedges posted a while back about a much cheaper alternative automotive part.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Exhaust sleeve inserts
I was stuck without one of these and needed the bike on the road that day. I used a carefully folded piece of emery cloth (sand paper) and wrapped the male bit before fitting the female back on. Once done up it gace a perfect seal. I planned to order a new seal at some point. 2.5 years later I sold the bike to a dealer having never replaced the emery!
Cheaper than ordering new ones!
