That a known fault with the Scorpions or am I being a tw8t?
I have carbon hi-level Scorpions on mine mate and they have been really nice, noise & performance. Some have found the power pulses of the V twin can destroy the carbon cans quicker than other types. Oh and welcome in mate.

Apparently some manufacturers of carbon cans won't stand the warranty if fitted to some big twins.

Welcome aboard Phil  For tyres everyone has their own view on what they like or don't. It also depends if you want sticky rubber (race compound) or tyres that last a bit longer. I use Avon Storm, these are sports touring which IMHO give reasonable grip and reasonable mileage.

Is it Saturday yet I can't effing wait to pick it up :wtf:

Just spent half an hour clearing some space in the garage for the new arrival, feels like when I was putting the cot together before daughter No1 arrived nearly 9 years go. BBQ gonna have to get booted out and live under a cover.

Like I said up there, I can't remember being this excited about getting a bike and I've had a good few over the years

OMFG the Firestorm is epic could you hear me whooping inside my helmet?

Took the long way home from Loughbourough to Rotherham, went East out past Melton and then headed North up B roads to get to Lowdham and then up the A614 & A634 home.

An oustanding ride even in the wet, reminded me very much of my old blade but with a peach of a motor. The scorpion carbons are sweet a good tone even with the spuds in.....
