Just booked up our Aug road trip. Sailing from Plymouth to Santander 5th Aug, riding down to Beziars, South of France and then returning to Plymouth15th. Aug.
Will be taking the GSX1400, I would love to take the storm down there but with me being so tall, luggage and wife on the back it's a tad uncomfortable on long journeys.

how much was the ferry mate, i might be doing it myself later this year, i've done it in a van a few times but never a bike...

£130.00 return for me and the boss...oh yes and 81,000 AVIOS Air Miles
4 berth cabin outbound, two birth on return.

When I looked at booking up for the Portsmouth crossing it was £530.00 so it looks like we have saved about £400.00..that will buy me a few more beer tokens.
