hi all my names jim. been surfing the net and found this place looks cosy and friendly :D bought my storm just over a year ago but unfortunately about 4months after getting it she decided to bend a valve on me!! :( been my 1st v twin was totaly hooked so after some soul searching and the wonder of fleabay got another engine so while shes all stripped a full rebuild is underway. already seen the mcct's to order!! so can see me being a regular in advice area!! :oops: bit of bike history. fs1e (obviously!), kmx 125, fzr 250, zzr 600, bandit 6 and currently the vtr and a vfr 750 thanks all and look forward to chatting. :thumbup:

Welcome, shame you didn't find us before the valves went to all bendy, but good luck with the rebuild.

Hello fella, interested to see you're my closest neighbour and have the same 2 bikes I have a black VTR FV with lower fairing and carbon scorpions (to put some miles on and a grin on my face) and a museum piece/concours red VFR FV on 11k (currently for high days and holidays this one will never be sold)

thanks all no pics worth putting up of the vtr yet just stripped and polished the rims and other bits still trying to pipe the new engine back up!! :confused thanks porkpie classic vid! :) looks a tad different these days!!! i know what you mean dont think i could sell the vfr :) now! only bought it for a run around but she part the family now! a red 1993 fl 21k on clock 2owners very well looked after. she took me all way to assen and back last july never missed a beat!.... too right simo bottom of our rd and straight out rivelin valley and to the snake pass and matlock is a sweet half hour ride away!!
