hi all said i would be seeing you in here soon1 :confused could some one please tell me where these live please? and also any info on the route of the cooling pipes going into and out of carbs would be most appreciated been nearly a year since strip down and got a total blank! and haynes manual not good in this area. thanks all Image cheers jim

Looks like parts of the PAIR system, not shown in the page linked above.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

hi tony thanks for reply yeah i think the photo i put up is the pair system but not sure where she plugs in! :confused the diagram above i hope explains to me where the coolant pipes run into and out of the carbs.

Not much help for you Jezman :wink: but for others who are going to strip their bike down, if you not familiar where things go take plenty of photo's on your digi camera as you go :plainsmile

hey thanks guys the pics at lings were a massive help after i sussed out the codes at bottom of pics. 8O all im waiting for now is the mcct's to put rest back together and see if she fires to life :thumbup: my final hurdle is the weight saving bits of the p.a.i.r at the top of this thread!!! their not even on lings!!!! :? ive got a 99 storm and the only thing like it is on later models and looks nothing like these!! cant even see where they would live. do i need them? looks like ive filled everything hole that needs filling! and dont mean all the girls in our local!!!!! :lol: :lol: cheers any hints appreciated cheers

Not sure where you got the PAIR system as that was overseas emissions requirement AFAIK confined to US versions of the VTR Superhawk (usually ditched ASAP)

I've seen a few, perhaps they're imports back when grey imports form other eec countries was a good money-saver?
