Hi Peter, starting to like white on Firestorms,Benny Hedges was the first I saw. A set of good headers would finish yours off.

in bits still mate
as lloydie said a work in progress, i hope to have it finished mot/tax/insured by the end of march.
all the bodywork has been repaired, primed and ready to paint (tathitian blue)
my bikes probably one of the longest running projects this forum has ever seen, i knew i shouldn't have agreed to pay my mechanic by the hour
last i heard the rear subframe and footpegs/hangers are being painted black to match the black braced swingarm i'm putting on.
theres lots of bits still to do, but when its finished it will be a one of a kind firestorm that i hope won't look like a pile of shite.....
have a look at my project thread in this section, i should be updating it very soon

Painted?
They won't match, mate.
The swing arm I made for you was satin black powder coated, IIRC.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

my sprayer uses a special mix, something to do with hammerite going thru a spray gun, so the rear subframe being mostly hidden shouldn't be a prob, if i don't like the finish i'll get them blasted and p/c next winter.
i just want it finished now tony, i'm getting the arsehole with it all, it hasn't stopped me buying some cbr900 rrw front calipers and refurbing them, possibly with titanium bolts, if i can find them cheap enough that is.
