*also, just fyi - after being pulled over and cautioned the other day i learned this:

the tax disc on a bike must be displayed on the left side of the bike, in front of the engine.
an arsy plod could ticket you for having it on the right hand side - or even for bolting it to the chainguard like a lot do.
i didn't know that either.

i didnt think it had to be in front of the engine either m8, in fact i didnt think they could do you now for not displaying on a bike, just going off what a traffic copper said when he pulled me the other weekend.
best to not have any grey areas especially if you have other things like number plate, cans etc... and speeding!
(especially relevant to you as the cop in question was a north wales bike cop but in a t5)

he also mentioned my plate was too small and the font was too small, and i should have makers postcode etc.... i was going to say as the bike was regd before september 2001 those regs dont apply, but thought best not to argue lol, even though i am right, considering the bike has a 6 digit reg, not 7, the plate can legally be smaller and doesnt need the postcode etc.

if i hadnt been speeding id have argued the toss over it!

nope. has to be 2 row afaik.
