Re: service on a storm
My god this would be to much to list for most people on here the amount of stuff and things that have been done and changed, lost count of the stuff its had over the last few years
SuperSponge should be the name for the storm the amount of hard cash it consumes, it soon gets addictive one mod leads onto another and another before you know it your balls deep in a bidding war for an item you don't even need!!!
if you meant what do i do when i service the storm,
Every 2,000 miles or there about I change the Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter and Plugs
Brake pads are inspected and changed if needs be.
once a week i check the tires are at the correct psi's

Re: service on a storm
Next week, engine out of frame, completely strip engine, new mains, big ends, rings, any other bearings and seals with any wear, rebuild with good condition new engine cases, new plugs, see if I can get it run cleanly on the dyno with new MWR Racing air filter, otherwise clean and re-oil K+N, adjust cam/valve timing, as I think it will respond well to advancing the cams, 5 degrees inlet, maybe a bit more exhaust, to give better overlap. That'll mean slotting the cam sprockets and dialling them in.
Gas flow two spare cylinder heads, extend exhaust ports to give better gas flow, get them welded up if/when i break through into the coolant passages, reshim, ride it, get it on the dyno at the end of the week.
That should do for now.
Four/five days, needs to be finished in time for dyno runs end of the week, so six to eight hours/day should be enough (never is though- probably end up finishing it 2am again).
Anyone with time on their hands this weekend/next mon-thurs is welcome to drop by.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
