MOT tomorrow.

Post by Rob »

Been a long time since I've posted here.....

Threw my bike down the road around this time last year, embarrassed and gutted so just chucked it in the garage and forgot about it.

Anyhow I recently felt the urge, so got some bits off eBay ( it wasn't that bad and I can live with a few scratches and dings as it's pretty rough now after using it through 3 winters) and put her back together as cheaply as possible.

Managed to badly twist my wrist digging yesterday, but as long as it's not too bad I'll go for an MOT tomorrow. Hope she passes, had her since new (2002) and I'm now doing a 64 mile/day commute so looking forward to spending a lot of time on her this year.

Don't know why I Ieft it so long, only took me half a day to rebuild her!

Wish me luck!

Best of luck Rob. I think we're in for some good biking weather early on this year.

Did around 80 easy and relaxed miles today. Bike felt like it was new. Definitely going to be used a lot this year for commuting.

*Edit.

Wrecked the Blueflame cans so back to standard. God it's quiet!
