My first beautiful Firestorm
My first beautiful Firestorm
Hi all,
Just been flipping through a few of these pages and you're all very helpful and informative.
I've had a VFR 750
Ducati 750ss
Ducati Multistrada 1100s
Ducati monster S4
And now my brilliant '03 Firestorm.
I just can't resist a V twin lol.
Only had it a week and already love it. Really easy to ride and seems to be mechanically standard with 7500 miles.
Perhaps a few too many stickers but hey ho. . .
Looking forward to a long life with your website.
Many thanks,
Ged

Greetings - my bet is on blue! Show us some pics of the the beastie
Head to the workshop knowledgebase subsection where you can see all the bits that need fettling to ensure peace of mind. CCTs and R/R etc.seems to be mechanically standard
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Welcome to the forum Ged. Make use of the good advice that is available from the very knowledgable members and have a good look through the workshop section to make sure the Storm stays bullet proof. Most of all enjoy the bike mate.

Re: My first beautiful Firestorm
Thanks all for your welcome and well funny replies.
Your techie section is interesting and given me quite a few things to save for, mainly CCTs and Reg/Rec ( although I've already had the volt meter on the battery and it's getting a good steady charge ).
Yes, you guessed it, my bikes RED Doh ! I am a Liverpool fan too though although I'm not sure which came first.
I'm 15 miles east of Sheffield, and exiled from Liverpool 15 years ago but Italy would have been my preferred answer.
The exile is rather a nod to a series of books I read many years ago "Saga of the Exiles", and has been my sign in since dial up in the mid 90's. How old ??
I'll try to put a photo on shortly.
Cheers,
Ged
