Re: New VTR Owner here!
Had a good day today,
Got the following done :
regulator rectifier fitted.
removed top box and bracket.
made my own "tail tidy" with a dremmel and the OEM undertray unit as i got an aftermarket one, but it was not really going to be a simple job to fit up so i decided to get my favorite spinny tool out the garage!
fitted 7 x 5 plate to the above unit.
replaced what i thought to be a bent left footpeg/exhaust hanger with a replacement one, only to find the left exhaust was fitted to the inside of the hanger not the outside. D'oh!!!
put bike back together, fitting single seat cowl to the top box.
The bike looks so much nicer now. Next job is to get an exhaust clamp to seal up the leaking RH exhaust and then i should be set for at least one day over the weekend!!!

Any pics we can see? You could use one as an avatar
Be nice to see the tail tidy you made. This is what I have been doing all day helping out a fellow member http://www.haymouth.co.uk/phpBB3/viewto ... 05#p193610 All I managed to get done to my bike today was to fit some R&G bar ends
