Still loads to do, got really stung on some Ebay rear sets, waited a month for them then turned out to be different to the one's on the ad. So still looking for rear sets. The next big job is the rear sub frame rebuild and the hiding of electrics. Gone with a small race battery to simply free up space. Mini LED rear light and indicators from http://www.digital-speedos.co.uk/ guy seems really helpful. Gators from Wemoto.com, Hoses from http://www.AutoSiliconeHoses.com. Radiator is the single right hand side O/E fitted with a blank plug and two 80mm computer fans.

i looked into the koso units and decided against it, partly because i'm a snob and they are put on some chinese scooters, also after seeing some youtube videos i wasn't to sure.
still the only way i could justify the translogic unit is to take it from bike to bike or selling it secondhand when finished with, you would never be able to sell it with the bike....

For those interested the CBR 600 rr 03/ 04 forks is a straight swap, bearings all match up perfectly. You gain complete adjustment, better brakes, lighter front end and quicker steering geometry. But proofs in the pudding as they say.

Do you use the CBR stem as well? i.e just swap the yokes straight over?linden46 wrote:For those interested the CBR 600 rr 03/ 04 forks is a straight swap, bearings all match up perfectly.
