welcome to the forum buddy
are you still on the original cct's or have you changed them to manual ones?
have a good read thru the workshop section and then ask lots of questions, and if you get the chance post up some pictures of your bike.....

Sorry for ignorance but what are CCT's. Not changed anything! In total all that has changed is :- had dealer fit hugger & double bubble, autocom and givi rack. Always serviced and only EVER failure was the front brake light switch. £5!

look at the cam chain tensioners (cct) in the workshop section, its described as a ticking time bomb, they can go without warning and cause hundreds of pounds worth of damage. i'm amazed you've done 50k+ without any probs, just goes to show they ain't all bad, i'd still look into changing them, a couple of the lads on here sell them bazza/rideronastorm they're both in the sales and wants section. also check out your r/r regulator/rectifier they are prone to burn out taking your battery with it. again have a look in the workshop section, its all in there mate.

Welcome, and yes you are missing something. A good bunch of people, lot's of knowledgeable advice & guidance, good deals and fun and games. Some of us like a good wind up as well, so you got to take that on board as well
Looking forward to seeing some pics of you bike. Is all standard?
Have fun and ride safe.

You have been lucky with those CCT's, it's a common fault.50,000miles

Better late than never, you have now found the home for your bike and all that goes with it.....as a bonus, there is also a good crack too
Post up some pictures and have a look in the workshop knowledge section to find out about the cam chain tensioner. Doing the stopper mod will cost nothing but your time, and could save you rebuilding the front cyl head.

Welcome aboard Wayne
As already mentioned CCT's are a weak point in most cases, as is the rectifier, but yours most likely has the finned type rectifier being a 2003 model.
