It does state that it's in the UK. But the problem with the listing is that it has that Hong Kong feel about it. Well almostI I ran a spell check  You do get people advertising that it's in the UK and it turns out they are a UK based Chinese distrubuter. But this ad does look buisness like and genuine to me. But you never no

I have never fitted one so can not comment on the fit etc. But you pay for what you get most of the time.

Have Fun

i bought one, it turned up within 3 days of paying for it, the plastic is thick and hardwaring, on the downside, the fit isn't the best, you have to fiddle about a bit to get it to fit, and theres a tiny gap around the side light, when i get the chance i'll have a look to see if i can trim it down for a better fit. i'd say its ok if your on a budget, but you'd be better off saving for a more quality screen....

I saw the Ohlins shock went for £470, just wondered whether it went to a good home on here. Anyone buy it?

470 plus postage for a used item that's 900 quid brand new is not a bargain in my eyes, he didn't know what the spring was rated at either just guessed at an answer, the preload hose looked shabby too. The was no way I was going to pay over 350 for that .

For 580 you could get a brand new nitron race unit all the bells and whistles, nitron service cost is only 55 quid too!

Ok Seb, you didn't fancy it. Just wondered if anyone else had a punt on it. If the buyer fits the middle ground build wise, the shock might work with a bit of careful setting up.
Anyway the seller wanted to let the market decide the value of the shock, so there you go. To be honest the Ohlins name doesn't carry the weight it used to.

I don't think the difference between them and other manufacturers is as great as it once was. I have heard a lot of people complain about the longevity of their products with leaking seals etc. Having said that they do look nice and funky.

Their standards slipping or others getting better? Every other manufacturer jumping on the Ohlins bandwagon so there is more of their product about so you hear more about the probs they have?

Not having a dig or anything #justsaying
