Clutch slave cylinder gasket

Post by Porkpie »

Having a big clean up of 15 years of lube & crud before moving to dry lube.

The slave cylinder gasket didn't survive in one piece. Can I get away with instant gasket to re-assemble it doesn't retain any fluid behind it so it seems to be a big paper washer to me?

Ta, Neil.

Ideally you would shorten the clutch pushrod by the thickness of the unused gasket, but I suspect you won't be able to tell the difference.
Should be ok.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
