You will learn to ride around it .
I just pull away as you would normally until the clutch is out then wind it wide open and lift the front :)

My black one made 110.9 bhp

and a red one made 99 bhp

mine has 39000 miles on the clock and the red one had 13000 mile on it, so as I said before " Black is best"

both have sexy cans, I have no idea what else has been done to mine, mine does cough and spit back through the carbs, although I kind of like it, ITS A BIT OF AN ANIMAL.
Let me guess, the red Storm has the 19ltr fuel tank and the black one the 16ltr :?:

I have not actually seen anything to confirm this for definite, but as Lloydie says, the later models the ones with the 19ltr fuel tanks when they came out first, reading reports printed by different bike magazines they were showing a drop in rear wheel BHP. The earlier Firestorms (with 16ltr fuel tanks), bike mags were reporting RW BHP to be around 103 to 105bhp. The later ones around 98 to 100bhp.

What made the difference you may ask. Some thought the later Storms had a smaller air box to allow for the bigger fuel tank (I'm not sure if that is true myself) while others put it down to a slightly milder ECU.
