Fitted my extended mirrors.

Cut them in 2 at the point where they exit the rubber boots.
Drilled and tapped both ends, screwed in threaded rod and locked up with loctite and a couple of nuts.

Filled in the gap with upol metallic filler, smoothed and painted black.

They're now 45mm longer than standard, can only just see my elbows now 8-)

What mirrors did you use for that mod templ8, looking good. I would like to do somthing about my elbows too :lol: I much prefer the look of full mirrors rather than extenders. Can you fold them mirrors back?
