Old Skool!!!

Been a while since I've posted; just been browsing every body else's rants and ideas, anyway, I've added a few things since the new year - mainly one up on back and one down on rear (sprockets) (plus Speedo Healer gadget, needed it- about 17% over-read), head and swing arm loobed/serviced, crash bobbins and most importantly RIM STRIPES!!!!!



What ya think!!?? Errr, I'm not sure either. The yellow stripes on the grey wheels doesn't contrast well IMHO, but it might grow on me. I think it'll look better with black rims (is this what the later model had as standard or am I mistaken?).

Anyway, hope to see a lot of you in Wales Fri eve. Ta for now. Griff.

Seriously though, I like the yellow rim stickers, they suit the bike. That's one very clean looking storm you got there.

I took this pic today aswell, can't see the wheels but just looking better and better as I tweak here and there!!!



I put the bluey type main and 'side' bulbs in and they look fresher and not as yellowy (old fashioned), also painting the belly pan made a big difference. Getting there. Not sure where, but there!!!

Oh and Carl, you gotta love the balance bike! Ill post a recent pic of it - its ace!!

I am also thinking to tryout yellow rim tape on mine, but it has black wheels, so should stand out nicely.

So looks like at least 3 fast ones going to Wales, we will have to plan some stops for the others to catch up

Mac, Yep indeed - us yellow 'ins have gotta stick together as well with all that jealousy out there!! In background are a Puma help and a little 'Grob' tutor! Good spot! Might get my wheels done next winter-black. Dunno yet. Weather looks good for the weekend - or option B!!!! Griff

That's superb What a lovely thing to do while recuperating. You could make money selling them.

I got to say though, Black would not suit it. Yellow is perfect as it's made for a child you need to keep the speed down.
