Can This Be Done

Post by pariah »

My other half rides a hornet 600.. As she is so small she has thin shortish fingers. She came back from the stafford bike safe meeting yesterday ,( which she passed with flying coours on here riding by bernie the pc biker that took her ) and was complaing that her left hand was hurting due to no being able to just pull the clutch in with out over stretching her left hand.
I was wondering if it was at all poss :confused to heat the clutch lever and gently bend it in towards the grip there by shortining the distance from the handlbar grip .
any comment or ideas chaps

Thanks
Rick

Fit a dogleg lever; she'll find it much easier.

Preferably a good span-adjustable one like a Titax lever, but there are loads of cheap knock-off's on ebay.

Get the correct one and it fits directly in place of the standard lever, no work necessary.

You might as well get a matching brake side one as well.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
