Standard exhaust

Post by mavar1ck »

I am fitting the standard exhaust back on my bike for the MOT. When i brought the bike it had Microns fitted but previous owner gave me originals as well. My question do the exhaust brackets go in front of the mounts on the bike or behind. Having trouble with the left side as the bracket on the exhaust is a little bent making hard to tell at the gear change mount if it should go behind or not. I assume the rear peg end goes behind as it seems to want to go there naturally?

Both behind, but you might find it easier to loosen the footrest mounts (including the swingarm mounting bolt) first.
Then tighten up once they're in position.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
