@slappa
Bafflectomy coming up.
Go on....you know you want to....full bafflectomy. :wink:

@BigVeeTwin
DOes anyone put any sort of lube (vaseline?) on that makes it easier next time? The tank nearside fuel line has always been a total sod!
A hose tool that's what you need. Is It it pulling the hose off that is hard or sliding it back on. Just remember that Vasaline will make it not grip so well, so make sure it wont slide off with the clip when attached. Is it that the hose is a tight against the tank or could do with a bit more length. If the hose is short and tight, lower the tank down while attaching. Less space to work but gives the hose a bit more length.
How much fluid? I got a 250ml bottle
You will need more. I have been warned about the amount of bleeding involved uses a lot of fluid.
Lastly coolant
As Slappa says. :thumbup: The ethylene glycol (anti freeze) also acts as summer coolant.

Glad you have had a successful day and I could help. Have fun with those carbs. Take your time and note how your taking things apart so it all goes back the same.

@edds11 sounds like you have had more fun than me today. Enjoying the sunshine. :beer: :D I take it you have fallen out with the boss and not very happy with work at the moment. :roll:

@Lloydi That circuit is well quite. wombles noise restrictions. It does look like good fun though. :D :roll:

@BSM
ingers crossed we get to meet misses slappa tomorrow at high beach......... :lol:
although i won't be calling her that :oops:
:lol: :lol: :lol: Nice to meet you mrs slappa :lol: :lol: :lol: When she sees the size of your tits she won't mind. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :boobs:

What have I done to my bike today. Not a lot, went out and done a tank of fuel, just over 80 before the light came on so fuel economy is looking better. :thumbup:

I know I wanna... It's not terrible quiet at the moment. Might have had a few bits blown out the back when I discovered kill switch backfires when I first got her!
Oh well I've run her on open pipes (didn't dare ride her like it though) so it can't be "that" bad... lol!

She might not like it if hers are smaller!

Everything is relative I guess!

I'm still waiting to find out what mine is like on a run. I've just used her to and from work this week, so it's been a gentle toddle. I could have left the gear selector at home and just stayed in 2nd all week...

Wiped yesterdays bugs off it, stuck missus on the back, collected more bug and got the High Beach.

Met Carl and BSM as arranged *hurrah*
Just as I was leaving a red one rolled in, so I also met LeeVTR and his new brake lines! I can report the bikes didn't physically meet, so the brakes look good!

Went up the road to the pub and stuck my head under the tap. Had some lunch, came back, and just as I was dodging the traffic queue at the roundabout down from the tea hut a black VTR went the other way. Hope it wasn't Carl coming back!

Had a ride out to Harwich, where a lovely fella fitted my shiny red brake lines for me, while listening to me talk bollox ( as usual, before BSM says it ).
Thanks Jonesey, and Mrs Jonesey for the hospitality, was blinding !! Nice to meet you Tankslappa.

:lol: :lol: :lol: Nothing wrong with your riding, you just like to get a wiggle on. Marty left me stuck at the lights today. The pair of you are making me break speed limits. :roll: :lol: Don't think we had many double solid white lines today :wink:

Your brakes must be well sorted then. :thumbup:

They're all good, thanks to Mr Jonesey.

I think I shall count myself lucky I avoided a ride with any of you lot then!

Now I know of Carl's courier history I'm certainly not going to play with him, or even follow him to be honest (too loud! lol!).

I'm still getting back into the swing of things having been off two wheels for several years. The VTR still has a serious grin factor (only slightly muted by the missus being on the back).

One handy thing about having a newbie pillion, I didn't fuel up today and the light hasn't even come on (no it's not broken!).
