Do you have any before and after dyno sheets?

Get a Photobucket account upload images to it and then just coppy the code for BBcode and paste it, it should have the image tags already wrapped if you do that.

TRE?

But the Storm never had the timing retarded in the first few gears, unlike some, so could you let us know what exactly was fitted?

You can get an ignition advancer, but AFAIK that's about it unless you can break into the ignition module programming.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

+1 We would all know about it by now. The only way you can add a custom map is via the ignition Module. IIRC Others have tried to get a HRC profile (out of Honda) into a third party module with no luck.

Or have you got one of these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280698848830? ... 1423.l2649

I certainly would not trust or buy it as it's from Hong Kong. I would rather spend the money on a Factory Pro ignition advancer. At least it's tried and tested
ive put a T.R.E box on and had it re-mapped
Have you got a link so we can see what your talking about?

The main features of this unit is that it removes the top speed limiter (there isn't one on the std unit) and that it allows over-rev to a higher soft cut-off rev limit (might be useful on the drag strip, certainly, but as torque is trailing off by 9500 anyway, not a lot of use, really, except maybe on track, possibly...
Lots of other info seems lost in translation, though.
I can't really see the benefit, unless it's mappable by dipswitch or download/pc to EPROM. Which it doesn't seem to be.

Unless you have one of the rumoured French ones with a lower power output?
As it's purely electronic it's hard to spot bikes with this done, except for the blue paint on the fairings, of course....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
